A methodological framework dedicated to hospital supply chain management with the combination of data warehousing and data mining,

Résumé

This paper presents a methodological framework based on data warehousing and knowledge discovery in database, which are dedicated to hospital supply chain, in order to evaluate performance, plan and schedule activities and resources (financial, physical and human resources). Our study mainly focuses on the operating theatre, and our approach is based on a methodology framework centering on patients' flow path-progression (sequences of activities), and the description of each activity (necessary resources and duration of activities). This study contributes to the combination of performance evaluation, data warehousing and data mining approaches in the hospital supply chain in order to forecast patients' trajectory and estimate tasks duration according to patients' profile.
