Résumé

A numerical model is used to describe the spatio-temporal evolution of the beam delivered by a pulsed copper HyBrID laser. The model takes diffraction, transient gain saturation and the cavity geometry into account. The time evolution of experimentally accessible beam parameters, like M2, power-in-the-bucket or brightness, is deduced. The model is applied to the description of a copper HyBrID flat–flat cavity and to the optimization of an unstable confocal positive branch copper HyBrID resonator.
