Distributed Optical Fiber Sensor for Temperature and Strain Discrimination in Radiation Environments

Abstract : We evaluated the potential of a new architecture of distributed optical fibers sensor (DOFS) to discriminate between temperature and strain changes along an optical fiber exposed to radiations up to 1.5MGy(SiO2).
