Statistical analysis of the 800 nm fs-laser inscription conditions on the characteristics and thermal stability of FBGs inscribed in fluorine-doped optical fibers

Abstract : A systematic study is reported on the impact of the femtosecond laser inscription conditions on the properties of Fiber Bragg Gratings inscribed in radiation-hardened fibers and on their stability against a high temperature treatment (750°C).
